    Established in 1970, Xinrong District has a total area of 1018 square kilometers with a population of 108000,with 1 town, 6 countries, 140 villages under its jurisdiction, connecting with Liangcheng county, Fenzhen city, Inner Mongolia in the north, Yanggao and Datong county in the east, Zuoyun county in the east, Southern Suburban District in the south. It’s the northern county in Shanxi province.
